Why transfer to ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø?

How will my previous coursework transfer to ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø?

Transferability of coursework taken at other institutions is determined by the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Registrar’s
Office and the faculties concerned.

Students may consult the and the
websites to see how past coursework has been transferred to ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø.

Those can serve as guidelines only. Final transfer of credits is contingent on the receipt of an
official transcript of records.

ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø follows a semester hour credit system.  Transferable credit hours are determined based on
the credit hour system used by the originating institution (semester, quarter, unit). Credits
earned on a system other than semester hour will be converted to semester hours during the
transfer evaluation course review.

Courses are evaluated on a course-by-course basis for transferable credit.

Credit earned from Institutionally accredited institutions are transferable.

Credit earned from accredited institutions will not automatically transfer.

Transfer grades are converted to the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø grade system with a proceeding T (TA, TC, etc)
and do not affect the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø GPA.

Credits transfer to ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø at the course level designated at the institution of
origin (upper or lower division). lower division (1000-2000 level) credit MAY NOT be used to
meet the  upper division (3000-4000) credit minimum regardless of the appropriate
course equivalencies.

ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø does not automatically transfer coursework taken from StraighterLine, Sophia Learning, or Study.com, etc.  If a student would like to have a course considered for transfer, please consult with an academic advisor and submit a university petition requesting review of the course from the respective organizations through the official institutional channels.

Note: Transcripts must be sent directly to ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Office of the Registrar from the issuing institution to be considered official.
